QUADS:   one of your riders (the expert who was on crutches last Sunday) will be sending me some pics in a few days...

.

  • The big triple is now a big QUAD !!

  • Almost all Diamond turns are banked now.  Its like a slot car track and its a blast.

  • So how does a single Diamond gate feed 2 tracks (big track and peewee track).
Note how big bikes are on one side and peewee's lined up on the other.
Gate drops for big bikes but peewees hold.  Gate is raised a 2nd time and Peewee's go but fade right to their track.

  • Shot of the dedicated Peewee track which really makes them look like adult motocrossers out there.   It appeared to me that this was the best training they could get before they come out to join us on the big track.

  • Wino asked me to take this pic for him.  That white piece of cardboard is supposed to be his flying carpet.
The rest is kind of unclear to me.   Wino on his carpet.

Seems that the irresponsible webmaster got into talking about supermotard before he finished photographing the results!  When he turned around to start again the "TrackSide Software Gremlins" had snuck in and devoured the sheets.  So all that was left to photograph were the gremlins themselves .   Seriously, me bad.  About half is missing.   Blame #138/Powers !!    lol
These are all very LARGE, very CLEAR images.
If they appear too small to you its because your browser is automatically resizing them on you.  To get the full image bring up a desired result image, move your cursor over the white space area (probably on the bottom of the image)  for a moment or two, then move it back over the green result hardcopy.  Magically should see a small box with arrows appear on the image on the lower right hand corner.    Click on that and the full size image will be present.

UH OH !!!   Seems that one of Diamondback's finest employees was summoned to fill out a report for the Plattekill police for ASSAULT.  Seems that in a novice moto a rider was down so Jerry Walker responded with the yellow flag to warn oncoming riders to proceed cautiously.  Well, one of those riders not only failed to proceed with caution but came straight out the unprotected Jerry.  In the confusion, the flag deflected off the top of the riders full face helmet as Jerry lunged away from the assaulting bike. So Jerry, of course, disqualified this rider for endangering his fellow rider, endangering a flagger and breaking one of Diamondback's cardinal rules:  OBEY & RESPECT THE YELLOW.  But. the incident did not sit well with this rider and the police were summoned to issue assault charges against Jerry.  Now all that would be strange enough but here's the clincher:  they will drop the charge  IF the disqualification is dropped.by Diamondback. Anyway, we hope that all this is soon sorted out soon, and that all parties go away with some feeling of satisfaction in the end.

The best of the best:   our senior gate operations staff.  (Mike Negersmith & Jerry Walker)
