Mike
Leavitt, captured here in this picture taken by Matt Wozney from Holeshot Graphics, rails the bowl turn after
the run along the entrance road. Mike's "take no prisoners"
riding style brings all their fans to their feet every time he starts his bike.
Truly one of the legends of district 34 already. Read about all the racing details
in the Holeshot Graphics race
report for this racing day. And thanks for letting us use your pics Matt (blows
ours away! lol). |

We all know
that Athena Stefanou went 1-1 in the highly competetive Women's Class on Sunday.
Problem is noone was sure exactly "who Athena was" on this race day.
You see Athena's identical twin sister came to spectate on Sunday and let me tell you I
have talked to people who watched "Athena ride" and "Athena
spectating" at the same time! Yes, a lot of us were confused.
1st half start,
Chrissi jumps into lead,
lead women riders (Haley, Athena and Chrissi) overwhelming a Vintage
rider, Samantha
Fritz, Terry
Eagan, Athena doubles past Haley to take the checkered flag. "by a wheel".
2nd half start,
Athena and Haley approaching
start table in 2nd half with photographer's shadow between them.
